Dauphinoise Potatoes

  • Servings: 6-8


  • 6 Klondike Rose┬« Potatoes
  • 2 cups Swiss or Gruyere Cheese, grated
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • Nutmeg
  • Salt and White Pepper to taste

Preparation Steps

  1. Slice Klondike Rose potatoes into rounds, do not rinse potatoes after cutting.
  2. In a deep casserole dish, layer potatoes and cheese until dish is filled, cheese should be the top layer.
  3. Pour cream evenly over the potato mixture.
  4. Sprinkle nutmeg over top, salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Cover and bake at 350┬░ F for about an hour, taking the cover off for the last 10 minutes to brown the top.
