Crock-Pot Steak and Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 24oz bag of Klondike Gourmet Medley potatoes, cut in half
  • 3 lbs. round steak, cut in 1 1/2" strips
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 4 carrots, cleaned and thickly sliced
  • 1 tsp. celery salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. Paparika
  • 2 tsp. dried parsley
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbs. vegetable or olive oil
  • 1 cup beef broth or substitue 1/2 cup red wine and 1/2 cup water

Preparation Steps

  1. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Place meat in skillet and cook until brown on all sides, sealing in the natural juices.
  2. In a small bowl, combines spices and broth or wine/water mixture
  3. Layer meat, potatoes, and carrots evenly in crock pot and pour liquid mixture over everything
  4. Cover and cook for 8 hours on low heat.
